Field trip with Mr. Vince@The Bake Plan, SS2.

http://buy-generic-clomid.com After worship practice, we followed vince for a short field trip to his wife’s bakery (teeheehee… More fresh bakes to eat… For freeeeeeeee).

Here is vince, showing off some of the new recipes created: almond danish, and red bean with margerine pastry. The red bean paste is made in Japan, as the theme of the bakery is “preservative free!” somethin’ you hardly see these days!

One of my favourite bakes: the croissants! For diet worry people, a mini  version of flaky buttery goodness is not harmful hahaha. And hey, only RM3… Steal deal!

Even the ham and cheese loaf looked  amazing! This… I will reserve it for another day 🙂

The Bake Plan is going all cheesey  frenzy yo! Glistening golden shiny cheese sticks.. Going for only RM3!

Flaky danish pastries have always  made me weak in the knees. And vince kept feeding us with free samples… Aduhai any more free… I don’t need to buy anymore lol!

Field trip time! We were given the priviledge to tour around the bakery area where all these deliciousness were freshly baked. The pungent aroma of sweetness  buttery pierced right through our nose.. And tummies too!

As mentioned in my previous post, the croissants are baked in a freezer room, and here stood one of the bakers in winter clothing, prepping up the pastry dough. Brrrrrrrrrr!

These two… The cake experts! I could smell the vanilla from out here. Keep up the good work!

Of course I can’t leave this place empty handed after receiving such great hospitality, thus…. My breakfast for the next two days!

Grand opening of Sarah’s dream@The Bake Plan, SS2 PJ

After having lunch at SSOne chapfan, we took a short walk over to our The Lord’s Covenant Church sister, Sarah’s newly opened bakery, The Bake Plan!

Balloons and flowers crowded all over the front of her shop and shades of red were everywhere. Located at the same row with AMBank and McDonalds in SS2, you will not miss it!

The bakery was packed with people and the whiff of buttery aroma filled the air.

Needless to say, lady boss Sarah of course, stood firmly by the cashier. KACHING!

Besides punching in the numbers, she did the packing too, with the help of an assistant who mainly did the slicing of breads for customers like me, who want everything cut and packed nicely haha.

The breads, pastries and puffs generally looked really hearty and wholesome, perfect for big fans of bread! Her bakes are inspired by Taiwan.

I bought these 🙂 btw, the croissants (mini sized and normal sized ones are available) were amazing. The pastry dough are prepared in very cold temperature, to prevent the butter from melting, I was told that the bakers had to wear winter clothings while baking the croissants!

Lady boss was being nice, and gave me a free Earl Grey scone and a pack of mini croissants. Teeheehee. Perks of having a baker friend. Hurrah!

I bought a milky swirl as well, RM 3. The only time I ate this, and the best one to date was still in Rome, at a local cafe nearby the Vatican. The shape differed slightly from Sarah’s version, as it was cone shaped but the principle was similar.

Milky swirl: swirlilicious, milkylicious, crunchylicious, twirlilicious!

My breakfast for the following day: goes well with a hot cuppa long black. 🙂 the cocoa one fits me more. Dense with dark cocoa flavour, yuummmmssss…
