http://cinziamazzamakeup.com/?x=cialis-5-mg-generico-pre%C3%A7o Essence Restaurant is also another highly rated restaurants in Hanoi, and we managed to get a booking tonight as well. The decor was quite lovely here but the place was filled with mainly tourists. I guess everyone just follows Tripadvisor and came back to the same places.

I’d much prefer the orange juice we drink conventionally.

http://cinziamazzamakeup.com/?x=levitra-20-mg-miglior-prezzo Tonight, indeed, was a spring roll galore. We had 3 different serving styles of spring rolls and before the mains came we were already full! This was the paper rolls wrapping with vege and peanut fillings. To be dipped in with sweet and spicy sauce. This was so so to me.

They were delicious on our first day here but after having them for 4 consecutive days..the last thing in my mind are spring rolls.

http://cinziamazzamakeup.com/?x=acquistare-viagra-generico-25-mg-pagamento-online-a-Napoli We even had another spring rolls dish which came in sticks, stuck onto a pineapple. A little too extravagant for me I must say.

http://www.slccolorado.org/storage/proscar/ All in all, the food here was also so so to me. Not like the kind of highly rated reviews written on tripadvisor. This further confirms my personal hypothesis that food of this quality is one of the best you can get in Hanoi.

Long awaited reservation@The Gourner Corner Restaurant, Hanoi

fertility drug clomiphene clomid serophene milophene image

Two years ago, I could not get a reservation as it was always fully booked. Today, the same thing happened. I had to book 2 days ahead to have a chance to dine at this highly rated restaurant, The Gourmet Corner, on the top floor (12th floor) of http://www.hanoielegancehotel.com, Hanoi Elegance hotel. The place was rather quaint, petite and maybe only able to serve 30-40 pax.

I was thrilled to see how the food will bring some gastronomic excitement to us!

We ordered several different dishes and my colleague ordered the pork cutlet grilled and wrapped with ham, served with risotto. The pork was too hard and salty.

image

I ordered the Ga Quay, roast chicken with ginger, chilli and mushroom slices served with rice. The chicken was quite tender, spicy and I thought the ginger slices added a twist to the flavour. Not bad.

The lamb racks were drizzled over with some ginger mustard lemon sauce and the meat was quite tender, slightly above average but I had eaten much better ones than these.

You can’t go wrong with local spring rolls, especially when fried and contains pork. Most restaurants taste fairly similar, not much differentiation.

This was the banana crepe, which was honestly really ordinary to me. First impression on the taste was that it feels like anyone could cook this up easily at home.

I prefer the chocolate cake more than the crepes. They definitely did not use high quality chocolate, you could tell from the taste, but thankfully the cake was moist. It came with an overly hardened chocolate coated cornflakes which was so hard that eventually my colleague just grabbed the entire piece to eat.

Total damage was about RM60 per head. The food was really, so so to me. I’d probably not make any more trips back here. And there are so many more better restaurants back home but you’d probably need to pay at least 2 times more for them. But I do think, perhaps to the tastebuds of Hanoi environment, this may be considered suitable and delicious. I guess I am not one of them then.

The good thing is that they have really friendly staff, especially the restaurant manager, Mr Fook who was so courteous and helpful to all our quirky needs.

The place also has a verandah area, which can fit about 15 people. Suitable for those who love the cool weather outside and want a private romantic moment to themselves…as it has a nice view of the city from here, at the 12th floor.

For those who want to give this place a try, please book much earlier on, details shown below:
