Level up to the Hulk!@MyBurgerLab, OUG

Hulk!

After testing both branches of Myburgerlab, somehow I felt the taste of the burgers at the OUG branch was much better than the one in Paramount.

Although, I was drenched in sweat after a 2 hour shuttlecock wacking game, the crave superseded all vanity consciousness. Burger time, in sweaty mode!

Just look at the layers of grilled deliciousness. How can this not make you sink your teeth in for the sake of “diet”? The grilled beef patty double whammy layers were awesome. Coupled with a generously thick fried avocado, nicely done! And top it up with a fried sunnyside egg.

I’m waving hello at those calories that were gone from the badminton game. They are back!

RM 23++. Worth every penny.A million times better than a Chillis burger. And definitely a gazillion times better than a TGIF burger.

Home made meat balls

The downsides of a fast paced game or work out is that even though you had one big meal right after. Just a couple of hours down the road, the hunger kicks in!

Hence, I indulged a little more today. Supper time! With home made meat balls (prepared by mom of course). My only task was heating them up….

Korean noodles da' best

And toss them into a bowl of spicy korean noodles! The lovely thing about korean noodles to me is the tangyness, springiness and slurpiness of the noodles. Somehow the koreans perfected the art of instant noodles in my opinion. The soup was rather spicy though. Did work up a little fire in the tummy but adding those meatballs in did kick up an awesome supper storm!

First try@KFC Delivery Service

image

Instead of heading towards the healthier option (going to the gym), i headed towards the dark side. Waking up from a groggy nap, I was hungry and thought I’d give the KFC delivery for the first time.

As there was an outlet just 5 minutes away from home, the food earlier than promised. The estimated time of delivery given was 30 minutes, and it arrived within 15 minutes. This is good but here comes the down side…

My regular order is the dinner plate, minus the bun and instead of 1 coleslaw and 1 mashed potato, I usually switch both to coleslaws. I’d rather be upfront over food I won’t eat so I won’t waste it.

Over the phone, apparently I can’t customize the orders even though I was willing to pay for it at the same price as the original order. And apparently I am unable to skip ordering the drinks which I usually opt out over the counter order.

Total cost of the dinner plate over the counter, 3 pieces of chicken+2 coleslaws was RM11++.

Total cost of the dinner plate over a phone call, 3 pieces of chicken+1 coleslaw+1 mashed potato+1pepsi can was RM16++.

The package came looking surprisingly presentable. At first glance, I thought that it may be oven or microwavable friendly, but it is not. Just a plain paper box. I do hope its biodegradable and nature friendly.

The chickens were well kept, still warm and fresh. Quality wise there was nothing to complain about.

I guess..this provides an alternative option on really lazy days with a slightly lower/similar cost compared to pizzas (RM30plus) or Wow Chicken (RM40plus).
