Sandwichlicious goodness!@Cafe Mamas 카페마마스 , Seoul image

cheap canadian viagra On our final night in Seoul, we decided not to stay in Oryu-Dong and moved nearer to town instead, at New Kukje Hotel (about 5-10minutes walk to Lotte mall and Myeongdong!

follow link New Kukje hotel rooms were quite decent and they even have room fitted for 3 pax, with 3 super single beds inside. The rooms were clean and the staffs were very hospitable, and had good command in English also. The only slight downside is never ever lose your room key, which I did. It likely slipped out of my jacket while I was in the restaurant. The penalty fee cost us 10,000 won (RM 37.80!!!). Anyway, as painful as it sounded, it was true that this was my negligence. Let’s focus on the good part, yummylicious foodie! Not far from New Kukje hotel (probably about 2-5mins walk), there was Cafe Mamas 카페마마스.

go to site I fell in love with the feel right away the moment I stepped in. English Christmas carols Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole etc, cozy layout, very much like walking into a countryside home for a hearty breakfast. They also sell fresh fruits and vegetables here too. image

watch Most of the menu comprised of sandwiches and salads, LURVEEEE ‘EM. We ordered the ham and cheese sandwich and the portion was gigantous stupendous. Not to mention the generous portion of melted oozing cheeseylious cheese. Biting into these after walking here on a 1 degree weather. *swhingsssss!*

Kakakakakakaka. Am a happy girl alright.

The grilled chicken sandwich was like WOW. Was this jenga? I thought.
Hearty, healthy, and filled with such fresh vegs. Damn, there is something amazing about the vegs here that they always taste so juicy and fresh. The weather? The soil? The heart of the farmers putting their best to grow the crops?
It was too big the portion and we only finished half of it and packed the other.

Each sandwich cost about 15-20K won (RM30-40), which hey for this portion we might have been charged more in Malaysia.

Definitely coming back to this place for the sandwiches. Love em! I was told that at dinner time the place would be packed to the brim and there are queues normally seen outside Cafe Mamas 카페마마스 . After having their sandwiches, I totally understood why all the efforts to eat here.

Keep up the good work, Cafe Mamas카페마마스 !

Spiritual food day!@Nogodan Church, Gurye

Oh no! It snowed again over the night and I missed seeing them coming down from the sky. But we woke up with a fresh icey cool breeze and white patches laid all over the ground, buildings and mountains. The view during the day was breathtaking. We couldn’t see much when we arrived last night, but now…the view of the mountains gave the feeling of tranquility, peace, calmness.

The layout of the church, with curved giant glass panel windows facing the mountains, I regretted not taking a video of the view. Imagine sitting there having a cuppa, and a History of Redemption book, reading while being surrounded by white layers of mountain ranges.

I can’t begin to fathom how did Sr Pastor lived through the 3 years, 6 months, 7 days in the cave all the way up there. Without the amazing grace and protection of God, this would never have been possible. Even from below here, I was already shivering in the cold.

Breakfast was super super hearty! It had my favourite food too, lotus roots! The beef soup was superlicious good especially on a zero degree morning!

With our tummies now filled, time to feed our heart and soul with the Word of God! This was like the fulfillment of nations come dancing with joy to the Word of Redemptive History. We have congregations from Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia, Singapore, and us from Malaysia. Even though the deliverer of the Word is in Korean, we are blessed with great translators who translated the message to our native language in order for us to understand.

By noon, we stopped lecture for lunch at the nearby restaurant, 5 minutes walk away from Nogodan church. I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing vast surrounding mountainous range with snow all the way up. It was cold but the sky was clear blue so the view was picturesque!

Lunch was great as well, a little ndifferent from what we could get in the city. The dishes and the style of cooking were slightly different. We occupied the entire restaurant, and the owner was beaming with happiness. Wherever the Lord is present, abundance follows!

I couldn’t wait to finish my lunch as I wanted to hang out more outside and to experience as much as I can of the amazing view, freshness of air, the calm and tranquil feeling.

The view outside Nogodan Church, up close and from a distance away. *shwings* I could sit outside all day long and set my eyes on this beautiful scenery.
What made this even, much, much, much, more special is the fact that this was THE Mt Jiri, where the History of Redemption Series was born and also every drop of water that we drink here in Nogodan Church was filled with Sr Pastor’s love.
The pipes were all changed and the water that we received were water from Mt Jiri, rich in germanium. He said that the most important thing is to have the people of the Word receive the water of the living, the living fountain where the Word of God sprang forth.

I brought back 2L worth of Mt Jiri water back to Malaysia, and truly, this was really some deliciously amazing water. It could remain cold for a very long time even out of the fridge and every sip tasted so fresh!
