A vietty farewell lunch@Banh Mi Cafe, Puchong

I recalled having a major fever that morning but I had a really nice invite to have lunch with one of my team mates. I could not turn down the nice girl’s offer.

We went for Vietnamese food, less heaty, soupy, cleaner – catering to my fever and sore throat. We went to Banh Mi Cafe, i was told it is a very popular restaurant in Puchong.

My pork noodle soup was perfect for my fever. The warmth of the soup helped me sweat out a little to cool off the fever. The food was average, very normal bowl of noodles in my opinion, but what made it nice was the company I was with.

The must-haves Viet dishes include their local Popiahs. We opted for the steamed versions instead of fried, and pork slice instead of prawns. Pretty average as well.

I spent time just catching up with my team mate, we shared our career and life experiences, both being more introverts than extroverts i guess when we are alone, we speak more haha. She is a really pleasant person and really hope she will excel in her career!

When I got back to office, I was greeted by a really nice farewell gift from my Red Warrior team lead…a personalized plate with a hand written message by her.
