source The appetizers vegs were served in generous portions too. I love it that we were able to grill our kimchis ! Reminds me of the times I had them during winter in Seoul. The vegs were pretty fresh and with such portions of serving, we couldn’t go beyond the first refill.
follow site The seafood soup was quite tasty as well, very rich in the flavours of fish and squid. There were several chopped chunks of crab but they weren’t to our liking. We had not even begun our grilled pork and frankly, we were already full with the vegs and soup.
The servers were prompt to customers’ needs and they did a good job grilling the meat too. Some flavours of the marinated pork were more mild, and you can’t really taste them after they were cooked. But some were rather strong. I guess this would be good to even off the palate. The pork was overall, quite good quality. Tender, and not too fatty.
Portion wise was definitely fitting for at least 4 pax. Good place for a small group meal, but the downside was the humidity inside the restaurant. I was perspiring so much that it became uncomfortable to eat, and I grew restless. I think people may stay on longer and be inclined to order more food if they air-conditioned the place better.
All in all, twas an interesting experience. I’d come back with a larger group, but I’d probably come in messy loose clothes. Pitied the girl who walked in the restaurant with thick make up, dolled up in a nice dress. She would be leaving Palsaik 팔색삼겹살 soaked in sweat and smelling of smoke.
