Saturdays. Ah. Love it. A day of sleeping in a little later. And a day for me to catch up with my regular date…with Wan Tan Mee! And most importantly a day of cleaning at The Lord’s Covenant Church and worship practice.
Right opposite a spa in Plaza Damas, next to the ex-Haute Food n Co, Jie Mee kopitiam, serves awesome Wan Tan mee, and also curry laksa. But I cant ditch my date and always ended up choosing my first love : WTM!
Sincere portion of charsiew and in fact, I personally found it better than the one at Desa Sri Hartamas next to Backyard.w
Right after TLCC session, we headed off to one of TLCC’s family member house warming party. I love attending Korean parties as they will usually cook some amazing meat dishes! The last time we had bulgogi, and this time…my favourite fried chicken coated with spicy sweet sauce, and pork ribs! It was so hard to control over eating! Phew.
Ain’t this a glorious prismatic colour array of deliciousness? It probably is hard for a lady to marry a Korean man, as one of the key skills needed is that you gotta be a good cook. I have failed the first test already.
We also managed to see some old photos of his family and even some with Reverend Abraham Park in it! This photo mesmerized me greatly. The large crowd. Backdating decades. And today, I am a part of it. Truly thankful beyond words.
Ta-dah! This was WTM date on the following Saturday. Yes…my love…I need to see you every Saturday. Problem lies here is…I may date other versions of you on some weekends. Forgive me for me “cheating habits” hehehehe.
Look out for the kopitiam next to ex-Haute Food n co (opposite a Mediterranean restaurant and spa at Plaza Damas)
