We were greatly blessed to find out that our hotel is located near several of the top coffee joints in Seoul. We were at Tera Rosa two days ago, and a good 20-minute walk brought us to Namusairo 나무사이로, run by a world-class barista…and it is a lady, ggguurrrrllllll power!
It is actually an olden heritage wooden house converted to a cafe and you have a choice to sit in the open space overlooking the blue skies and cols breeze or curling up inside, warmly protected by the sturdy wooden beams and walls.
We had the panama geisha lychelo from Namusairo 나무사이로Namusairo 나무사이로 and another single shot espresso long black.
The beans are from the famous coffee farm: http://www.ninetypluscoffee.com/
The panama geisha cuppa, by far the cleanest palate I had ever tasted. Once it flowed down your throat, the characteristics of each flavour would sequentially reveal themselves.
And what impressed me much more was how good the long black was. No sourness to it, bold, strong and really clean.
I could sit here under these beautiful blue skies and cold breeze just sipping these cuppas all day long. Hey hey, Mr RUSH smiled in agreement too! Peekaboo!
Alrightey .. Signed, sealed, delivered. Buying these beans home!
To get there:
Exit 7, Gyeongbokgung Station (Subway Line 3), walk toward
Jusigyeong-gil for 200m, turn right at Naejadong-gil and cross the road.
