Lah Kopi Klangite way@Chung Kok Kopitiam, India Street, Klang

Our Klang-ite friends brought us to this really old skool kopitiam at Indian street for a sip of Lah Kopi the traditional way. The place was packed to the brim and I was really surprised to know that there is a Muhibbah place that still exists in the big city! All races having a happy scrumptous meal together. This is 1Malaysia. Not the nonsense we watch on TV.

The coffee was really awesome. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Bittersweet memory indeed!

Toaste bread the old skool way. Whiffs of buttery kaya frangrance filled the air. I felt like a little kid again!

Apparently the banana cake is famous here too. Moist and very pungent aroma and flavour of mashed bananas. But this can’t beat the JB banana cake. Best I had ever eaten to date!

This kopitiam existed many decades ago, this old old uncle is still behind the counter stirring away the awesome Kopi. I am really humbled how hard he is working to make all his customers happy until today. Thumbs up to the uncle Lah Kopi!
